Obituary of Era May Kemp

Kemp, Era May (nee Hoffman) - Peacefully at Port Colborne Hospital on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 87.  Beloved wife of the late Douglas Kemp (2011).  Dearest mother of Stuart Kemp (Karen), Neil Kemp (Joddi), Norrine Hardyman (Barry), Karen Kemp (Wally), and Nelda Toth (Wayne).  Loving grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and remembered by her nieces and nephews.  May was predeceased by her grandson Jason Toth (2005), and her parents Lawrence and Gladys Hoffman.  May was born in Grimsby and lived her life in Warner, Grimsby, Smithville, and Beamsville.   May was an employee of Bell, Westinghouse and the Admitting and Emergency Room Clerk at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for many years. Visitation will be held at Merritt’s United Church, 707 Church Rd. Wellandport on Thursday, April 25^th beginning at 10:00am, followed a service celebrating May’s life at 11:00 am.  Donations to Merritt’s United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
