Obituary of Monika Slingerland

Slingerland, Monika (nee Reker) - Passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby, surrounded by her loving husband Gary and her children Brandon & Jackie Slingerland (Jesse, Meghan, Jacob, Lauren, Jenna), Glen & Rebecca Slingerland (Zachary, Owen, Mackenna, Lily) Kevin & Kelly Slingerland (Cole, Lucas, Isaac, Jude, Raegan) and Daniel Slingerland & Jessica Acs.

Survived by her brother Gunther & Dorothy Reker, sister Gerda & Don Buetow, and in-laws Ralph & Elsie Slingerland, Roger & Linda Slingerland, Tina Bruinekool & Jack Sroka, Ria & Kees Vant'wel, and Hilda & Jim Overbeeke.

The family will receive friends a the Vineland chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland, on Monday, May 6 from 1-4p.m. and 6-9p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7 at 11a.m. at The Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1142 Lakeshore Rd.
