Silvie)

Dear Tante Hilda and family, our deepest sympathy for your loss.
We have many memories of Uncle Ben. Rick worked for him and began his apprenticeship at Maple Leaf Refridgeration. Uncle Ben was very good at his trade and Rick learned so much from him. It really was sad when the economy turned bad and the business folded. But a new adventure was a foot and we will never forget how Rick was a part of that too. Remember the move across the country! I think the moving truck had to come from Clearbrook in the middle of a snow storm. It said "adventures in moving" on the side of the truck, and indeed it was an adventure. With 2 girls, the dog and a ghetto blaster crammed into the cab they drove across the country. And so began your new life in Ontario. God's plan.
Remember all the wonderful memories and find peace and comfort in God our heavenly father. Love Wilma &Rick

Tante Hiltje, kinderen, kleinkinderen en achterkleinkinderen gecondoleerd met het verlies van uw man, vader en opa.
My memory of Uncle Ben is him visiting my parents i think in 1999, i picked him up from the AirPort Schiphol having a great conversation with uncle Ben. First time i met him being an adult myself. When we arrived in Emmen where my mom and dad lived Uncle Ben and my dad fell in each others arms with tears in their eyes. Although separate for years, they were brothers through and trough. We know we will meet again, in a place made ready by our Lord Jesus Christ!

My condolences to Hiltje, Andrew, Dorothy, Irene and Paul, Carla and John, Hilda, Jane and Jan-Willem, and Bernard and the grandchildren with the passing of Mr. Devos.
My favourite memory of him was of him directing the kids choir along with his wife in Smithers, BC.
Then he was also the guy who had the heating and cooling business. In a small town it wasn't hard to know people and what they did. He also was active on the school board and in the consistory. Fond memories!
