Obituary of Tina Oliver
OLIVER Tina – (June 3, 1928 - May 25, 2019) The Lord has a new angel on the block. We are saddened at the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a truly beautiful woman to all who met her. Tina was born in Gruenthal, Saskatchewan to parents Katrina and Wilhelm Hiebert in 1928. They moved to Sherborne St. in St. Catharines when mom was 13 years old. Here she met the future love of her life. Literally the boy next door. She was an avid gardener and seamstress, and best of all the best canner of pickles anywhere! We know because we would all wait patiently for them to leave on one of there MANY trips to sneak in and take a jar. Murray was her partner in crime for all of these adventures, taking them to almost anywhere you could name. She was a feisty woman who judged no one ever, just showed them her love. Her hugs were the best. She is survived by her loving husband Murray of 73 years! WOW! Her children Larry (Lyn) Oliver, Linda (Rick) Osman, Paul(deceased) Cheryl, Debbie Hearn (Ed), Mark (Julie) Oliver. She had 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eyes. Sister Margaret (Bill) Davidson, brother Ben (June) Hiebert. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers George, Ike, Pete, Hank, Dave, Willy, also her son Paul 2011 and a grandaughter Lisa Hearn 1982.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life because she sure did live a good one on Wednesday, June 12th at 12:30 at Tallman’s Fireside Room, 3275 King St. in Vineland.
