Obituary of Werner Hartmut Wiens

Wiens, Werner – Suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019, Werner Wiens, aged 60 years.  Beloved husband of Uli and loving father of Stephanie (Fabian) Reis, Caterina (Dan Renaud) and Julia.  Dearest opa to Hugo.

Werner was predeceased by his parents Hartmut and Ursula Wiens and is the older brother of Anita (Vince) Dong, Cornelius (Marcie) and Lillian (Jim Clements).  He owned and operated Wiens Underground Electric for over 20 years.  He will be greatly missed by many close friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends at Niagara United Mennonite Church, 1775 Niagara Stone Rd. (Hwy.55), Niagara-on-the-Lake on Thursday July 4, 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Interment will take place Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery followed by a memorial service in the church at 11:00 a.m.  If desired, memorial donations to Community Care St. Catharines/Thorold would be appreciated.
