Obituary of Elsie Ruth Louise Smith

Smith, Elsie - It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Elsie Smith on Saturday July 20, 2019 at NHS St Catharines General. After fighting a tough battle with an incurable disease Elsie finally found rest in the heavenly arms of her Lord and Saviour. She will be dearly missed by her husband Roy her love and best friend of 49 years as well as her children Glendon (Lorna), Beverly (Jason) Bergmann and Carolyn (David) Vandenbos.  She was adored by her grandchildren Kirsten (Maxwell) Howard, Ingrid Bergmann, Benjamin, Daniel, Isaac and Johanna Vandenbos.  Elsie is survived by 12 siblings and predeceased by 2 siblings.  Elsie walked out her strong faith in Christ everyday by loving and serving others selflessly. 

A funeral service will be held at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St, on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to www.rannetwork.com Use code SS07CAB.
