Obituary of Gordon Polych

Polych, Gordon Sam - Born February 7, 1936 and passed away on April 29, 2016, with his loving wife Marilyn of 58 years by his side. Loving father of Bonnie Polych Rosts (2015) and Andre Rosts and Heather & Dwight Peacock. Grandfather of Kristen Peacock and her fiancé Darryl Wendt. Brother of Josephine Der Krekorian. Predeceased by a sister Sophie Migus. Brother-in-law of Bev & Jack Hanrahan and Fran & Trevor Jones and many nieces and nephews. Gordon worked at Moyer Diebel Metalcraft and was a member of Vineland United Church and Ivy Lodge. In the past he was a member of Jordan Volunteer Firemen, Niagara Woodcarvers Association, Golden Horseshoe Wood Turning Association and the Niagara Region Rhododendron Society. The family will receive friends at the Vineland Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland on Sunday, May 1 from 2-4 & 7-8:30pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, May 2 at 11:00am. Interment at Vineland Cemetery followed by a reception in the Tallman Fireside Room.
