Obituary of Jacob Brendan Brouwer

BROUWER, Jacob Brendan – To our very deep sorrow it has pleased the Lord to take away our dearly beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew and cousin Jacob Brendan Brouwer of St. Catharines at the tender age of 2 years on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.  Dearly beloved son of Gerry and Vanessa Brouwer.  Loving brother of Derek, Thomas and Carly.  Dear grandson of Edna (and the late Bastiaan) Brouwer of Alliston, and John and Carolyn De Jongh of St. Catharines.  Dear great-grandson of Mrs. D. Van Koeveringe of St. Catharines.  Jacob will also be missed by his uncles, aunts and cousins, John Brouwer, Fred and Beng Lay Brouwer (Meaghan and Garrett), Erick and Kim Brouwer (Albert and Abbygayle), Brendan and Willena De Jongh (Jared, Sophia and Moriah), Jeff and Kaitlyn De Jongh (Jace and Louis) and Darren De Jongh.  Visitation on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Home, 3277 King St. Vineland, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Netherlands Reformed Congregation, 1142 Lakeshore Rd. St. Catharines, at 11:00 a.m. D.V.  Interment to follow at Vineland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eben-ezer Christian School or McMaster Children’s Hospital.
