My deepest sympathies for my good friend Nancy and for Sean and Erin and their families. Fred was such a great and gentle man with a terrific sense of humor. What he went through the last few years was so sad and not the retirement life that he and Nancy were so looking forward to. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and a deep void will exist for his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of deep sadness.

So very sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. His smile and jokes are what will be remembered. I check your Stoney Creek home, from habit, every time I drive by expecting to see Fred working on another car.
Memories and Fred’s smile will last forever.

I worked with Fred and got to know him well. As everyone has mentioned, he was always up for a good laugh, always willing to help what every the situation, and loved to talk about cars. One time at a sales conference many years ago the group was asked to introduce themselves, their work experience, and educational background. Fred followed some very educated people with Masters and Chemical Engineering degrees but when it was his turn, he stood up and introduced himself with a straight face having a PHD in Pipes, Hoses, and Drains. The entire room burst out laughing for quite sometime. Needless to say, everyone knew who Fred was during that work conference. My condolences to the rest of the family, he was a great man and will be missed.

Fred was my cousin and was always smiling and loved to joke around. Seen him a lot when my Mom used to babysit Sean. Yes he loved cars and really was a passion. It breaks my heart that he has been taken so soon from his family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with you xo

To the family- Nancy, Sean, Erin- we can all celebrate that Fred has gone to a far, far better place, the best in fact. "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also". John 14:2-3
To anyone who reads this- "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2:9
To Fred- Wow! "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Rev 21:4 See you not just sometime, but in good time.

We only met Fred and Nancy a few years ago. A close friendship developed. Fred’s happy smile and helpful attitude won him over very quickly. The first time I saw him he walked up to me and asked if he could help me with a starting problem with an old 71 Benz. He loved talking, looking, working on old cars. I will miss those times, but they will not be forgotten. Fred will also always be remembered as our friend. Our feelings to Nancy and her family.

Going to miss you, Mr. T! A great man with a great sense of humor. He was generous, kind, caring and helped when someone was in need (just like his family). Most importantly; a faithful man of God. Gone, but not forgotten! Love you!

Fred will be missed by so many, especially the Grimsby Church. He devoted so much of his time there.....building maintenance, cutting the grass and serving the Lord in so many ways. We will miss his smile, his quirkiness and his love for the church. Bless you always xo
