My deepest condoleances to the children and grandchildren of my uncle Dick. A real 'Groninger' men, sometimes stubborn but a person you could always rely on.
And honest in his words and thoughts.
My parents, his former brother&sister in law, felt always welcome at his place.
My dad admired his entrepeneurship very much; he talked about his brother in law as a 'big' men;)
I feel sorry for the several losses he had to take in life; his marriage with my aunt Riet but especially his daughter Minny and recently his son Bernie.
I wish my dearest niece Jacqueline, which I met several times last years, strength and love in these days of sadness. May she be surrounded by lovely people.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all the Renkema family in the passing of Dick. For a man who was so healthy all of his life it is sad to see the decline in his health these last few months. May wonderful memories add joy to your days when you are missing him the most. I will miss our coffee times and conversation together when I was in Beamsville for appointments.

Our condolences to the Renkema family in this difficult time. Dick will be sadly missed in our family. He was a positive person who had an energetic approach to life and always had a kind word for Henry. He shared his knowledge of the world, politics and horticulture with us on many occasions over the years. His friendship will be missed. Love, Stacey, Geoff and Henry

Dearest Renkema Family,
Opa was truly a great man with the kindest and biggest of hearts! I will always remember how he loved and cared for his Family. He was so proud of all of his Family — especially his parents, brothers, children and grandchildren — his legacy will live-on through them. Rest-in-peace Opa!
With lots of love and condolences,
Noel and the DeSouza Family
