One of my favorite memories of Aunt Helen was from when I was a young girl. She was always so stylish and even let me dress up in her wedding dress. She was the cool aunt.
Another memory of Aunt Helen was of sitting in the cool shady backyard with her daughter, Rina, sitting next to Grandma and my Mama -Kay and Aunt Helen chatting on lawn chairs. There aren't a lot of pictures of me with Aunt Helen because I, like Uncle Nick, was usually behind the camera taking the pictures.
Being with Aunt Helen was like coming home.
