Obituary of Aileen Pearl Buck

Buck, Aileen Pearl (nee Kendrick) - December 8, 1927 - October 11, 2019.  Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.  Her prayers were answered, that she be rejoined with her large family by Thanksgiving.  Predeceased by husband Joe of 53 years (1999) and sons Doug (2006) and Ron (2007).  Aileen is fondly remembered by her children, Don (Janet), Dan (Val), Wendy, Wayne (Diane) and Wanda (Brian).  Also surviving are many grandhildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation.  A memorial service will be held at the Beamsville Chapel of the Tallman Funeral Homes, 4998 King St on Saturday, October 19 at 11:00 a.m.  If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Aileen's passions included baseball, 'Old time' music, the polka, solitaire and euchre.  She enjoyed a good joke and had a great sense of humour.  Her remaining years were spent at Orchard Terrace Care Centre in Stoney Creek.  Even though her memory had gone, she remained one fiesty and strong willed woman.  She was loved and respected by those who knew her.
