My deepest condolences to Cheryl’s family on the incredible loss of such a wonderful woman. I only worked with Cheryl for a short time but she soon became the sunshine in my day. We had long chats where she shared beautiful memories of her growing up in a loving family. She had such passion for reading which led to a long list of books she had read. She could recount the authors and give an over view while saying ‘you’ve got to read this one’. Her love for animals was evident as she talked about her walks with Shanti. Positivity always radiated from Cheryl. She shared her mantra of positivity that she recited on her way to work each day. She was an open book with welcoming arms filled with compassion. She was never without a smile when said good morning. I will remember that smile, her energy, her optimism and at the end, her bravery for having gone through so much pain. Although it was a short friendship, Cheryl had an immense impact on my life. I miss her dearly and will not forget the beautiful person she was.
