Denis and I send our deepest regrets at the loss of Mark. We got to know him well over the many, many years that he looked after our finances. Mark and Denis would talk about gardening as it was a huge love for the both of them. He will be missed by all that knew him.

We are so sorry for your loss.
I remember being at a Buffett concert with Mark, Gene and few of their other friends, I remember watching them and turned to my daughter, Savannah , and saying “this is the man, we trust with our money.” We laughed and continued on.
Mark, you did well for us, not only as a financial advisor but also as a friend. We will miss you greatly.

This is a complete shock.
While we lost touch with Mark when he left Manulife, I will always remember our last meeting in St. Catharines. One thing I will remember about Mark is he knew how to handle adversity and put on a good face. I wish I was that strong.
I will treasure the memories I have over twenty years of working with him in "the industry"
Sleep well good man and Blessings to his children and their families.

I had the pleasure of working with Mark a few years ago now. Sadly I have not met up with him in a long time and was saddened to hear of his unfortunate health issues. Mark had a big heart, a kindness that stood out and always at the centre of fun! Although sad for the rest of us, I admire Mark for his brave and courageous decision to choose his end. He will be sadly missed. My condolences to all his family.

To our great friend for 30 plus years. Words can't express our sadness over this unfair illness that took our friend from us.
Mark was a kind person with a huge heart and certainly fun to be around. He lived his life to the fullness for sure.
When our kids were little they asked Mr Konkle what they should call him.....ie ....Mr Konkle, Mark or Uncle Mark...he simply said just call me SIR...well it stuck...lol. Well SIR we are all going to miss you, and will never forget the good times we had together.
All our love,
Gene, Debra, Michael, Laina, Sarah and Christopher Botman

So very sad to hear about Mark. Our heartfelt condolences to all. Mark was a wonderful man, he not only was our advisor, but a dear friend and "Parrothead".
He always put on the chef's hat and manned the BBQ, making great burgers etc. For all. He will be dearly missed by our family and fellow Parrotheads. We will always remember the great times. Farewell good friend.

I am so sorry to have heard about your Dad. He was a wonderful guy. He loved you all so much and always talked to me about his family. Your Dad rented a condo from me years ago and was such a clean guy, you could eat off the floors. We had many laughs on a Friday night if I stopped by to see him. Always had his door open for friends, great hospitality. I’m sorry for you all as I know how much you will miss him... Janet & Gerry Gabriele
