I worked with Bette in Day surgery, she sat across from me at her volunteer desk so we had many good conversations. Through our many chats It was so evident just how proud and appreciative of her family she was. She loved her children and grandchildren very much.
The next time I visit the Mandarin I’ll have a plate or two of crab legs in her honour, as she adored them.
