Obituary of Paul Walter Dyck

Dyck, Paul Walter -  was the youngest son of Jacob P. and Susie Dyck, born February 7, 1949 and passing peacefully on February 18, 2020.  He leaves behind his brothers Ed (Elsa) and Henry (Carrie) and their families.  The younger ones have fond memories of their Uncle Paul.

Paul grew up in Virgil, and worked at a variety of jobs.  He spoke kindly of Otto and Ruth of Pallek Nurseries and Eazy of Pizza Pizza.  The highlight of his life was a trip through Europe, Turkey and India in his early twenties.  Stories of these travels were often shared with his friends and family.  Some hobbies he enjoyed were gardening, biking, and walking.

Health issues forced him to retire and he lived in Welland and Niagara Falls for the last 8 years.  This month a serious decline happened and he was placed in Garden City Manor in St. Catharines.  He received wonderful compassion and care from the staff in his final days and the family is very grateful.
