Joey shared her skill with flowers with many high school girls in the area. She would employ us throughout our high school years, two girls at a time, working Saturdays and summer holidays. She taught us arranging, growing flowers and tomatoes and customer service. In the summer, the glass came out of the greenhouses and we painted the "ribs." We had lots of laughs leaving me with many fond memories. Also a love for fresh flowers that has lasted for life.
