Steve was always so kind and welcoming to me while visiting his son Ryan. Steve and I both had a hobby in tech gadgets and he always enjoyed showing me his latest tech upgrade. I know you were a wonderful father and husband and you can be proud that your infectious kindness was passed on to your family. My condolences to the Turner family.

...I was stunned to hear of Steve's passing today... my family and I always went out to the Maple Leaf Gun Club for the annual "turkey" shoot and we got to know Steve over the years...after a few years of attending we found ourselves simply attending to see Steve again! What a great guy! He will be greatly missed!!!

So sorry to hear of your passing. I first met Steve when he worked in the Sears stock room and I was in the snack bar. You were a
great person, full of advice if needed and compassionate to your needs, remembering many great conversations. Still, friends when
I left and you were in installations. I and many were blessed to have known you through their life path. My condolences to the
family at this time of grieving.

Steve was a wonderful friend. Welcoming, kind, and generous with his time and a terrific host as were you, Bev. The corn roast in your beautiful backyard was an event not to be missed! One of many special memories we have of Steve. Our heartfelt condolences to you Bev and your family. Steve will be sorely missed.

I still can’t believe you’re gone Steve...
I’m proud to have called you a friend. I’m going to miss the early Sunday morning breakfasts before heading to the club.
You put so much of your heart and effort into making the club what it is today, and you definitely left your mark. You’ve touched so many lives with your welcoming nature, and everyone knows your name. Always a collector, I’m sure everyone at the club has either bought or sold something with you at some point over the years!
Your annual backyard corn roasts were another delicious excuse to gather with friends.
Of all your passions, your family and friends were by far your most treasured.
My heart goes out to your family during this difficult time.
You’re really going to be missed...

Steve hired me at Sears in 1981 to demonstrate microwaves and then moved me to Appliances clerical when they did away with the position. He always looked after his employees. You will be missed at Sears Retiree Coffee sessions when we are out of the isolation. We will hoist a cup to you. Cheers! RIP Steve

A real “straight shooter” (pardon that, Steve). Steve was one of the rare people you could rely on 100%...a true friend and gentleman with a wicked sense of humour. I’ll miss our coffee dates Buddy. I know how hard you fought.
