Jan, David and Dawne, our deepest sympathy goes out to you all at this difficult time. I was completely shocked to hear of Dave's passing. I want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers, and I wish I was able to connect with you for a giant hug Jan. Life is just not fair sometimes, and I am grateful for all your help and support when Gary passed, it was so kind of Dave to offer his help to Jason, that's just the kind of people you are, so kind and caring. Take care and sending huge hugs to you all.

I only knew Dave from the course but he was always smiling and laughing with his buddies Jim,Doug and Colin. There was always a seat to sit and say hi. Dave was a great gentleman. Dave will be missed this season and the seasons to come. My condolences to your family Dave. Rest In Peace my friend and play some good golf wherever you land! We will try for a hole in one for you this year in your memory.

My husband and I both worked with Dave for many years at the Ford Glass Plant. Dave was in fact, my first boss when I started in 1974. He was always a really friendly and kind man, always smiling and quick to laugh. I'm glad he enjoyed his retirement and I hope your loving memories will help you through this very sad time. Our deepest condolences to you all.

Sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I remember meeting Dave when younger at Shepherd Boats (at the scrap mahogany bin for some free sticks) - his Dad's decorative lathe work. We would stop and visit from south Saskatchewan whenever we were in the area. Always a pleasure. He played a big part in piecing the Dyck family way back when before they became Canadian. I stayed with his parents while I took my grade 13 year at high school. John & Margaret send our condolences.

I feel for the family of my part brother. I met David when he was a St Davids Lions member. I am a Chippawa Lion. His son was a Merritton Lion. We had the many special bonds because I am a CA. When i lost my wife in 1999 he received numerous cards of symphony. We saw each other occasionally over the years and our special bond was always there. Words can not express my sorrow to the family. If conditions were not like it is,I would be able to actually hug each of you and tell you how sorry I am he passed. God bless each of you.
