To the Gill Family, my sympathies on the loss your father Bill. As neighbours on Wood-dale I remember our parents having many fun times together. I also remember my singing lessons with Mary and your father was such a gentle, kind man. Keep your memories close.

Bill was loved and greatly admired by his friends and neighbours in Victoria Shores. We will miss his cheery wave as he toured the area on his scooter; and his regular spot in the clubhouse will seem very empty when we are able to gather there once again. It was a privilege to know Bill; and we offer our sincere condolences to all his family.

To the Gill Family,
We wanted you to know that our family is thinking of you all at this time. Your Dad was kind and a gentleman on the golf course. Taking piano and singing lessons we got to know the coming and goings of your household. Christine had a crush on Murray and Gerard had a crush on Brenda. Your Mom was an excellent teacher and made us work hard. We are glad they are together now reuniting their love. Blessings to your family.
Fondly,
The Bodogh Family

Bill lived life to the fullest. The day began sitting at the edge of the bed watching the sunrise..after daily routine of exercise ..nutritious breakfest he was ready to go for a ride either on the scooter in the neighbourhood he loved bringing smiles to everyone. Or in the van to run errands....but remember to take the s scenic route home. He liked his cheesy snacks and a cookie during day before he enjoyed his supper on back porch overlooking the lake as the sunset . He enjoyed music very much...either on you tube ....or listening to guitar playing. His bedtime song was ONE DAY AT A TIME SWEET JESUS. I had the honour to care for Bill for 11 months. What a joy it was. Thankyou for imparting so much to me. You will be greatly missed . My condolences to the entire Gill family.

A humble man...who said of his years of service as a pilot in WW 11 that he was just doing his job.Bill was a hard worker, generous and with Mary, the love of his life, worked at building a legacy for his family. We never lacked for conversation, he was a good listener and curious. Bill loved life and valued the benefits of exercise, took joy in the simple pleasures...a glass of wine watching a sunset, riding a bike, reading, gardening, discovering something new on an outing..a dear, dear friend
