Rest well my friend - it has been a pleasure knowing you through the Morgan Club and you will continue to inspire us for many years to come. Glen Donaldson
I am deeply saddened to hear of David's passing on Monday.
We go back 56 years as flat mates in London and emigrating together in 1967.
Interestingly, we were not particularly close at first, which was probably because I was the pup in the quartet and I tended to spend my weekends chasing a ball around a field, but he and I did enjoy a trip to Spain in his bug eyed Austin Healy Sprite.
Despite being separated by 2/3 time zones for the passed 50+ years, we stayed in touch and had the pleasure of meeting 5 or 6 times, notably a couple of years ago when your Mum & Dad visited us on the island, a visit for which I was truly grateful.
Carolyn and I offer you our sincere condolences and hope that you find comfort in the knowledge that the memory of David is a bright light in the memory of all who knew him.

Dave's positive outlook on life will always be an inspiration for me. My deepest condolences to the family.
Our deepest condolences in the passing away of your husband and father. Dave was a neighbor to my parents on Forster Street. My parents will miss the sociable and friendly visits with Dave. Dave was very kind to my family as well. One summer day in 2018 he took my boys and I for a ride in his Jeep - something they will never forget! He will be remembered and missed and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Patricia H.
