To the entire Catterall Family, I would like to offer my condolences in the passing of a wonderful husband and a great Father.
We had many encounters over the years, but I would like to share only two.
The first time we met, a bunch of guys met to put together a baseball team for the locale Church league, we were at the public school,and after some time ,this gentleman walked up to us and asked if anyone in the group had any idea how to play ball,and then he gave his advice, and became our Coach. That was Dick Catterall.
The Group of Seven had a fund raiser at Victoria Hall, and Dick and Eileen would not take no for an answer so we went back to their house and sat around eating and still singing, when the sun came up.
I will always cherish the friendship of Dick and the Catterall Family.
