Dear Christel, Donnie, and Karen,
It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of both your parents just yesterday. My mom asked me to drive her to see them just shortly before she passed away. That was the last time I saw them. Our parents remained best friends over so many years. I still remember the many weekend outings to Kaufmann's flats, Doon, and Bingeman Park that our families enjoyed together. Your parents were so quietly proud of your musical and academic achievements. Their greatest achievement was serving their Lord and Saviour and introducing their earthly children to their heavenly father.
We know three things for certain about our now deceased parents. We know where they are, we know with whom they are, and we know that we will see them again.
May God comfort you in your time of sorrow. We mourn with you.
