Rest In Peace, “my little sister “. Because of our age difference between Linda and I, she was that pesky little sister when I was dating but as years went by and age didn’t matter, Linda became my friend and confidant. Linda always had a smile and a jolly laugh that was infectious. I miss you sis ! Love from your big sis.

My mother was a very special person indeed. As many have said, she was so helpful, kind and approachable. We have lost one of the nice ones and heaven has one great Angel now. I wanted to share this story with everyone. Mom did come and visit us for many weeks after her retirement from working every year so we spent lots of time together, but this is special. I moved out of town in the year 2000, and have been living in Northumberland County ever since. Its a 3 hour drive from Niagara on a good day. I had not been back in the area very much except for holidays until October of 2019, where I was asked to do an electrical job for a friends family in Niagara on the Lake. The job was supposed to be around 2 to 3 weeks, but as it turned out Its still going even now. Great people who have employed me for that long. Mom and I decided I would stay with her and of course it was wonderful to be home again in my home town of Vineland. Off and on every few weeks I would come down for the week or two, go to work, and come home afterwards to enjoy Moms home cooking and hospitality. She would cook me breakfast every single morning and had a supper fit for a king after work every single day. I looked so forward to what was for supper I would sometimes call her and ask what we were having. She was a stellar cook. I stayed with her until the Covid-19 restrictions hit in mid March where I decided to stay at a motel in the falls to protect her as she was going in for another operation in May. Food wasn't nearly as good and neither was the hospitality at the motel, but I dealt with it. I was so looking forward to going back to her home again when she was out of the hospital and catching up on the current events and hanging out with her, unfortunately she had not recovered enough after her Whipple Surgery (was a success) but her incision became infected and she had to go back in to the hospital to treat that. They did finally transfer her to St.Catharines General last week (Aug 5th 2020, her 73rd birthday) and we were so glad she was now going to be close to Denise and My Aunt Margaret and cousins, and we could now visit her daily with way less restrictions. I was literally arriving in the area Monday when we got the call to come quick to the hospital. If you believe in divine intervention this is a sign. Unfortunately, as we all know, she did not survive the day. I'm so thankful to the Turevich family (Fast Freight Distributors) for employing me over the last 10 months. This gave me the opportunity to stay with Mom from October to March, and again enjoy her company and companionship down here at her home for such a long stretch, like when I lived at home with her before moving out.. Something I can now cherish forever. She is no doubt my Angel in Heaven. Rest in Peace Mom, I love you so very much, I miss you every minute of every day, I will never forget you and until we meet again some day God Bless.

To Linda's Family,
I share Bob Cobbledick's memories of Linda at 'The Farm', as her sunny smile brightened up every day. I also remember seeing her at Carolyn's retirement and she was her same bubbly self. The front office of the OMAFRA building was always a great place for cheery exchanges about anything and everything. We will miss her.

I saw her about 2 yrs ago at Carolyn Prieus’s retirement party. She hadn’t changed a bit !! The same good natured Linda.
I was sorry to hear of her passing.
