Obituary of Jeanne Porte

Jeanne; a Mother, Grandmother, sister, friend and companion.  Truly one of a kind.   

She was a beautiful piece of pottery; broken, and then put back together by her own hands.  A critical world only sees the cracks but miss the beauty and marvel of how she, alone, made herself whole again. 

The wisdom she gained through her own experiences she passed onto her girls, teaching them strength and courage and to take on the world.

Never selfish, she was compelled to make time to lift and support other women.  Teaching them to live strong, bravely, know when to be tender, and when to be fierce.  

Our mother is proof you can walk through fire and still be an angel.
We know in our hearts that she's happier now, at peace and reunited with Rose. 

Cremation is taking place.   A private memorial will be held for close friends and family.
