Dear Tante Annie, I have fond memories of you, I remember when we were kids you used to come pick us up in your car, the one with a HUGE front end, the one that it took me all day to see what was in front of us, with the mohair interior. I still remember the smell of it, it always smelled clean and fresh. Off to the beach we went, to Happy Land along Lake Shore Road, you took us there quite often. You always said to me.."gimme a kiss", and I did. That was 56-8+ years ago. The last time I saw you, just a few short years ago, when you were still at home, first thing you said when you saw me,"gimme a kiss" and I did. You called me quite often just to see how I was doing, you were always concerned about my welfare. You were mom's only sister, and she cherished you dearly. Time goes on, people move ahead, families grow and are added on to, we get caught up with life and tend to forget about our loved ones, not that we forget, but for some strange reason there just doesn't seem to be enough time for everything and everybody, and then we get sad news such as this, and then we think, I should visited you more often, how many times in life does that not happen. That is why God gave us a memory bank, so we can always go back and revisit any time we want, and my memory bank is full of ONLY good memories of you, Tante Annie. You were kind, loving, compassionate and sweet. Now you will be rewarded, and there is NO doubt in my mind that you will have many crowns in heaven.
