Obituary of Carla Frida Dyck

Dyck, Carla - With great sadness we have to announce that Carla Dyck, age 84, passed away at the United Mennonite Home in Vineland, on September 16, 2020. She is predeceased by our daughter Caroline in 2018. She is survived by Ebe, her husband of 61 years and our daughter Ellen in Nashville, Tennessee.

She was our “SUNSET BOULEVARD” family idol. She loved her family and had a green thumb in gardening. With her, we learned to live life to the fullest. Friends remember her as a heart warming person. We consider Saskatoon as our hometown, the Gordie Howe and Johnny Bower empire. Ebe’s job got us into this area.

Classical music and church services were her relaxation and connection to the good Lord. The COVID pandemic did not make it easy on all of us, but in God’s will she found her way home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and/or the United Mennonite Home in Vineland would be appreciated.
