Obituary of Myrtle Tufford

Tufford, Myrtle Laurel (nee Cox) - Peacefully rejoined her beloved husband (Willis) of 70 years in the kingdom of heaven on Friday, June 17, 2016. Myrtle was an inspiration to her family and friends over her 95 years taking simple pleasures in baking, knitting and crosswords. A fixture at Galt farmers market every Saturday and Wednesday for 35 years. Dear mother of Reg (Joyce) Tufford and Larry (Nancy) Tufford of Beamsville. Grandmother of Derek (Jaimie), Ross (Dawn) and Bruce. Great grandmother of Tyler, Emily, Hudson, Quinn and Darby. Also survived by step grandchildren Jeffery (Sandy), Christy (Gary) and step great grandchildren Lawren and Will. Predeceased by her brothers Wallace and Roy (Cox). Myrtle will be at the Vineland chapel of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St., where the family will receive friends on Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. If desired, donations to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
