When Merle and I were first married we visited family in Canada and Aunt Margaret hosted us. She made the most delicious breakfast for us-fresh pastries she made early that morning in her basement kitchen. She poured so much love into us! When she came to visit South Dakota, she and Aunt Kate taught me how to make pirischky! Going to miss that lovely soul. Our deepest sympathies to the family. Love, Gena Brandt

I have very fond memories of staying at tante Margaret’s house as a young boy on summer vacation. I can still hear her soft gentle voice, she never had a harsh word for me although I’m sure I probably deserved some. Messing around in her garden. Coming back to her house after catching crawdads in the creek down the street. The hugs, kisses, hugs, treats and hugs were a Neufeld sisters gift and there were always plenty to go around.
She always shared her gooseberries and all the interesting fruits and vegetables she would show me and we would sample, kohlrabi was my favorite. Those are wonderful memories for me.
Deepest Sympathy

I met Margaret in 2012 when I came to work for her. We had an immediate connection. I came to think of her as a grandmother. I have missed our visits due to covid, and I will miss her greatly.
Many condolences to the family.
