JOHANNES VAN HARTINGSVELDT posted a condolence

Great memories. Henk and Betty would go off to choir and Jacqueline would babysit. There was camping and cottaging. Henk built our first house and there were about 4 Bills on his crew. My brother Bill just shared with me that Henk was a great boss. Then there was the time we woke up at 4 am because of the noise outside. The Teeuwsen boys were teaching Herman how to golf, on my lawn, in the dark. That's the stuff they were made of. But there was also the serious faith-filled side. A great legacy. Thanks be to God for preparing Henk's place.
Sincerest condolences from Job, Jacqueline, and Joel van Hartingsveldt

With deepest sympathies to Chris, Jeanette, John, and Cynthia, and especially Betty: in these strange times of Covid this is the only way to convey our condolences and memories. Henk and his family lived "across the valley" from my family and many times I babysat for Henk and Betty--especially during their choir nights. One of my strongest memories of Henk is his strong sense of humour--often making others smile and laugh. I have great, fond memories and pray that you as his family will find comfort in your many memories.
with fondness, Ena Koole-Vandezande

My condolences to the family. Our family used to sit in front of Henk and Betty in Maranatha Church I was terrified of him as a kid because he would always say he would bite my ear off. I met him a few years ago in the grocery store and he still wanted to bite it off. My mother Jo Somsen grew up with the Teeuwsons in Gelderland and had fond memories of hanging out there. We even saw the place thst the used to live on a trip to the Netherlands.
May you all enjoy good memories of him as you mourn this loss.
Gods comfort to uou
