My heartfelt condolences to Lana, Debbie and Heather as well as your families. I have very fond memories of growing up as neighbours for many years. Marvin gave me my first guitar and although I never learned to play I was more than thrilled to receive it. Plus, he gave me tickets to my first rock concert. “The Rolling Stones”. He was always held in high regard by myself and my parents. May your memories of your husband and father keep his spirit alive and guide you through this most difficult time. My thought and prayers are with you.

Marvin, you have surely left your mark on the world and the many people your life has touched including our family. We met many years ago when your family moved into a house just a few doors down from us in North Burlington, new neighbours we became close friends. Over many years and many house moves around the Burlington area we remained good friends to the end. Enjoyed vacations with our families, on boats, watching the kids at soccer games, visits down south plus many BBQs and gatherings, they’ll stay in our memories forever. You will be missed, see you again down the line save a spot for us, Goodbye Old Friend.
Our sincere condolences go out to you, Lana, Debbie, Heather, Dan and Abby.

A special memory I have is of my good friend Marvin and a New Year’s party at Anne & Geoffs. Everyone was having fun and when it was time to leave, Marvin and Walt filled their pockets with Margaret’s Famous shortbread which Marvin loved. Lana was the driver, the men were in the backseat trying to see how much shortbread each of them had in their pockets. Needless to say they were just crumbs by the time we got home! Guess who vacuumed the car?!!!
To Lana, Debbie, Heather, Dan And Abigail - You are a wonderful family and friends and I send all my love and sympathy. Marvin will be sadly missed by us all-Love Moe & family.

Dear Lana and the Girls,
I have so many fond memories of our times together, the Christmas house tours we went on and loving it when Marvin offered to drive us then remembering how he drive even faster than my Geoff did! Probably my most treasured memories though were our annual New Years Eve dinners and how Marvin was the one always elected to go out the back door and come in through the front door for all of our good luck. I’m sending all my love and heartfelt condolences to you all. Love from Anne Charnley

Dear Lana, Debbie and Heather and your families;
I was so sad to hear that news when Mum shared it with us, as was Mark. We are so very sorry for your loss and I'm sure it will be hard for Abby. Please accept our sincerest condolences and I know you will hear this many times but it's so true - may the memories of all the special times you've shared together sustain you now and in the future. God Bless, Sheralyn, Mark, Zachary and Olivia Roman

I remember visiting Heather and we would take a trip up to the house that Mr. Clark was building and being so impressed that he and Lana took on this task. He always had a warm smile and a warm welcome for me.
My condolences to Lana, Deb, and our cherished friend Heather.

Not long after we moved into our home next to Marvin and Lana, we went somewhere for the day. We have a fire hydrant on the front lawn and when we got home it was wearing pants, a shirt and a hat - We got used to Marvin's little jokes and loved every minute of it. He had the ability to enjoy whatever was happening and got everyone in the spirit. He will be greatly missed, Our sincere condolences to his family. Adrienne and Joe
