Jim would visit several times over the summer and was more family than friend. We have known him since 1975 and shared more memories than we could ever post. In 2019 he visited and his hair was long enough that he could have it cut and donate it to the cancer society, as often before, for a wig. My wife Dee was one of the few he’d let cut it. His passing has left a huge void. We are too old now to grow old friends like the one we’ve lost.
