Dear Cathy and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Micky's passing. Though separated by time and distance, we will always remember him for his big smile and classic moustache. Back in the day, when he was the manager at the Credit Union, he approved a loan to two poor students so that they could get married. That was us 41 years ago. Our sincere condolences as you mourn his loss. May his memory always be a blessing to you.

To Cathy and family you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of loss.
We have so many memories of Mike. He was a fun loving guy and a true gentleman, never an unkind word about anyone. How he enjoyed those trips to Myrtle Beach and San Diego. I think back to when I first met him in Bank of Montreal around 1976/77 where we both worked. He was one of those guys you couldn’t help but like always smiling. We would go for a lunch at the Mansion House, beef on a kaiser with fries and of course a beer or two. While eating our lunch we watched the Gong Show, a great diversion to working in the Bank !! Then we became neighbours, the Jackowitz family on Tavistock and us on Rainbow so we would visit back and forth. So many happy memories. He will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered.

How could anyone forget your beautiful smile and heartwarming stories about your family that you loved so dearly. Mike and Cathy were our next-door neighbours on Lakeshore Road for a few years. Mr. Jackowitz was one of the most loving and dedicated fathers I have ever known. I met him when Stephanie was a student and part of the soccer team at Holy Cross Secondary School many years ago. He was always so supportive of his daughter. Years later I would see him and enjoy our chats at Stephanie’s engagement, shower, wedding and the baptism of Grace. Mr. Jackowitz you will be missed. Your kind heart will live on through your beautiful daughter. May you Rest In Peace.
