You have all been in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom had a warm smile, a lovely laugh, and a great sense of fun. She always seemed to have an inner joy that shone through. I know you will all miss her very much. I was able to watch the service, and your tribute to your Mom was very special,
May the wonderful memories you have bring you peace and joy,

Dear Gerald, George, Ellen, Christa and family,
Leola and I extend our sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. Our family has fond memories of the many varied occasions that we have had the pleasure of visiting your mother, Sina, and your family. Your mother was always so gracious, loving and warm hearted in all circumstances, from the time we were kids horsing around in the photo studio til the last time we had a coffee at the Timmies in Port Dalhousie. Your mother was also a very dear friend of Leola’s mom, Annie Falk. Leola will be sure to view the service with her mom the next time she is able to see her again. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Uncle Gerald, George, Ellen and Bob, Christa and Ken,
Our heartfelt condolences to you at the passing of your wife and mother to eternity.
Tante Sina was not someone up front leading and directing, rather she was a quiet, sweet loving person, that loved and cared for everyone around her. I remember her visiting us in Brazil when I was still a girl. Taking pictures! ( that was still rare that someone had a camera in those days). Then, when we visited ( with my mother, Uncle Geralds first cousin), here in Canada, what a loving host she always was! Little did I know then, 20 years ago, when we came to their 50 anniversary, that I would move to Virgil myself, after I got married to Art Goertz, who had lived with his late wife, for over 20 years in Virgil already.
What a surprise when they moved into an apartment at Pleasant Manor. And even there, every time we visited them, she would prepare a coffee for us.
I loved and admired her! At a young age, leaving parents and siblings behind in Brazil to get married to her teenage sweetheart! What a courage. And in all those years, her parents never were able to come to visit here in Canada.
I’ll miss you Tante Sina. “Auf Wiedersehen!”
Ruth (Langer) and Artur Goertz

To George, Ellen and Christa;
Your mom, a very special lady. Growing up with your family in Virgil has left us with beautiful memories during our young years. She was always open to our fun and had a warm sense of humour. Greg and I loved to come over to play floor hockey, chess and sports in your back yard. Who can forget her home cooking, we were always hungry at your house and many a time she welcomed us to stay for a meal.
Her kindness will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Terri and I will miss her smile and friendly greeting when we walked past her apartment during some of our walks.
Our prayers and condolences are with your family
