Dear Ellen, we are very sorry for your loss. Your father and mother will always be in our hearts. They were so kind and generous and Jonas enjoyed all the gifts they gave him over the years. We will miss them very much and their presence as our neighbours in church. Our prayers and love to you. Jonas, Jeanette and Tony Ngo

Dear Ellen - I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. Thank you for sharing your journey with Barb and I during these past few weeks, you were his rock and his peace. I will miss your dad's laughter, words of wisdom and strength of support as we grew up. Barb and I were talking yesterday and we realized that Uncle Ebe always made sure he was there for us, for everything that mattered. My heart goes out to you and is forever with you. Your cousin, Dagmar

Dear Ellen, We will miss your parents in our church community. They were always quick to offer support whenever I was involved in the service in some way, and I loved receiving the emails from Ebe that had attached photos of various events that happened at church- whether it was potlucks, or baby showers, or Christmas eve. I loved how they embraced our church family. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve their passing. Lori and Randy Pauls

Ellen: I'm sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with Ebe the last few years of his career with Otis, During Ebe's retirement he has kept many Otis retirees informed as to what was happening in the world of Otis and with fellow retirees. His jokes and sense of humour were always welcomed.
Ebe will be missed.

Please accept our sincere condolences. Both your Mom and Dad were such lovely people. Your Mom always had a smile for me that went along with a funny story your Dad just had to tell! We met them occasionally at Heritage and know they were happy there. Just saw this now and were both very surprised. So sorry for your loss.

This is very sad news as Ebe and I communicated by email almost every day. I knew your dad for the last 40 years with Otis, we worked together in Ottawa and Hamilton. He was a great Otis employee and a good friend. We were just talking together about Geordie Howe and his time in Saskatoon. Our prayers go out to your family and know that Ebe will always be in our hearts. George and Lyn Baillie.

Ebe was a long-time friend of mine and colleague at Otis, who was very knowledgeable and always very supportive and focused on high achievement. He was constantly demonstrating his sense of humour and irony, and never lost perspective on life. After his retirement he kept me and many others up to date and amused with his emails. My condolences to the family on the loss of a good man.

Thank you Ellen for sharing this-I'm sorry for your loss but happy that your parents were able to be together until the end. You're parents were two of the nicest people I've ever met. Shortly I came to Canada to do voluntary service, we met when doing some type of outreach at a local shopping center. They bought me a coffee and donut (from Tim Horton's of course) and we were friends ever since. I remember spending a lot of time in your home talking with them (and eating your mom's good cooking!) They surprised me by driving to PA for my college graduation (and surprised is an understatement!) and then came back to PA for my wedding. We lost touch until a few years later when your dad found me on Facebook (only your dad would adjust to technology so well and so fast), and I really enjoyed his posts and updates. You'll be in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time!
-Mary (Kozlowski)
