Obituary of Mary Overbeeke

We announce with sorrow the passing away of our dear Mother, sister, grandmother and friend Marie Overbeeke on January 22, at the age of 84 years.  Marie was predeceased by her husband Gilles (2011) and leaves behind her children Carol (Dick), Lawrence (Sharon), Ken (Nell), Brian (Joyce), Diana (Jeff) and many grandchildren & great grandchildren.

We mourn her passing but rejoice in the hope that she had of eternal life where God shall wipe away all tears from her eyes, and there will be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain for the former things are passed away. Rev. 21:4

Psalm 40:17 was precious to her especially in the recent days. "But I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinketh upon me, thou art my help and my deliverer, make no tarrying, O my God."

A private family Funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 26 at 9:30 with a Live Stream.  There will not be any visitation times.

As her family we would like to thank so many of you who have faithfully visited her, encouraged her, supported her and shown so many tokens of love and compassion to her.  Your kindness will not be forgotten.
