My condolences to Anne, Veronica and family on the passing of your parents. I had the privilege and honour of getting to know both of them while working at Tabor. I enjoyed spending time with your dad singing songs together, he was always so kind and sweet. And with your mom, I loved stopping in for a chat with her while I dropped off some activities for her to do. She was a wonderful and kindhearted woman. I loved seeing the love between the 2 of them and your dad was such a softie when it came to Carol. I'm sad they are gone but I'm happy they are together. My thoughts are with you all. Sending you lots of love.

Thinking of you Anne and your family at this incredibly sad time ! I never met your Mom and Dad but I am positive they must have been the most loving and amazing parents . You are a shining example of a daughter who is kind, dutiful , loving and present when they needed you ! Bless you and your Family

Our hearts are broken. We are blessed to have fond memories. I should say fond funny loving memories. When I think of Carole I automatically smile. Because that is what she did. Always smiling and laughing. If you hung out on the lane then you know just what I am talking about. Carole always asked how you are and what have you been up to. And she cared. She would entertain our stories and as teenagers we had many. She would listen and laugh and say Sandra I can't believe you did that with a twinkle in her eye. Our families were neighbors for a lifetime. Carole would come across the lane in the morning with her night dress still on and her and my mom would talk for endless hours. We had a good life on the lane. It was predictable, simple and full of love and kindness and fun.
There was a no knock policy. Just a big welcoming "good morning" or afternoon or night. Come in and sit down. Carole had her health issues and sometimes she would fall down. She would laugh and laugh and say well I fell down the lane again or the basement steps. Never ever felt sorry for herself. She had the biggest salt and pepper collection in the world. And when she did her spring cleaning it was a huge event!!! Everything was off the walls, furniture in the driveway and curtains down. And even then she would stop to share a pop and have a talk if you popped by. I could go on and on with so many memories of Carole and her amazing kindness, beautiful smile, empathy, fun loving nature, and huge loving heart. But for all that know her you already know. Carole will always be in our hearts and if we are to be kind to one another, love each other, never judge, hold our heads up with grace even when we are not feeling well, laugh, have fun, watch a good tv show, enjoy a nice piece of chocolate, and truly care about anyone that crosses our path then we will have done right by her.
Carole will be sadly missed, but live on in our hearts forever. Rest peacefully and happily Carole with the love of your life.
Love Sandra
