My favourite memory of June would be in May of 2014 when Dad passed away. After the 2-4 visiting session and before the 7-8:30 she very quietly arranged a lunch/dinner in the Fireside room for the Parker’s and all the family knowing that many of us were from out of town. It is those moments that remind us all of the compassionate and kind nature of June. Blessings to Doug, Jeff, Tim and Rebecca and to all the Tallman family. Steve and Ann Parker

When I think of my Aunt June, I think of her generosity, her take-charge personality, her lavish Christmas feasts, her big laugh, and her enjoyment of the good things in life. She gave the best presents—I remember my mind being blown one Christmas when she gave me my first Precious Moments figurine, which I thought was the best, most deluxe thing ever. Although we saw each other less often after my family's yearly holiday road trips to Vineland stopped, she remained a supportive figure in my life. It meant a lot to me that she travelled to my wedding, and she faithfully sent gifts to help celebrate milestones like my first apartment, my first child—and just a few months ago, the birth of my twins, her grand-niece and grand-nephew. I know that she helped so many people with her generosity and faithfulness. My deepest condolences to Uncle Doug and to Tim, Jeff, Rebecca and their families.

For Doug and family. We want to express our condolences and tell you that our memories of June go back a long way. From the first time she came by to welcome the Young Saskatchwan family with gifts , fresh vegetables and an offer to pick grapes. (Quite the adventure for the little boy not yet two....that was picking and eating grapes off the vines....June was not sure he should eat so many) the invites for meals , Waves, potlucks, canning grape juice, Tintern...She worked hard and taught me a lot about serving, being hospitable, she planted seeds in my heart and when I plant mums in my garden I think of her. May her spirit live on in all of you.. Ve con Dios.

Dear Jeff, Mr T and family, we are sorry to hear the passing of your mother and wife. All of us share memories, as you know, it seems we spent more time at your funeral home than anywhere else. I remember one Christmas years ago when Jeff and Therese invited us over for the evening supper. Mom T was there also, and me being me, first place I headed for were the munchies, and Mom T launched her attack on me and stopped me midway to the candies. "Not so fast" she said,"I need to interrogate who my son is hanging around with." Needless to say the interrogation began, and to my delight I passed all her questions, "proceed" she said, so off to the candy bar I went. She was a good woman, and now she has earned her reward...Psalm 112:1 Hallelujah! Blessed is the man (woman) who fears the LORD, who greatly delights in His commandments.. Your mother was a Godly woman, well loved and greatly respected. Please accept our deepest condolences.

So very sorry for your loss. I remember June first when she was a student at Great Lakes. I believe that Patricia and I both served at her wedding reception. She served with the WAVES of Great Lakes for many years and had catering meals, banquets, parties, dinners--anything that was celebrated--down to a T. She was not one who liked to be noticed or lauded for her accomplishments. She was a kind and giving person. When I was in university, Doug and June let me live in their home for one of my work terms. One morning at breakfast June looked at me ( probably noticing my student-level ragged fashion choices as I headed to work) and said “You know what today is? Today is spoil a school girl day!” Later in the day she took me to Heida’s and let me choose, without being allowed to even glance at the price tag, a complete professional-looking outfit to wear to work. I was so excited! I felt so seen and so loved in that moment. I have never forgotten it. My prayer is that we all spend our lives loving like Jesus the way June did. She noticed and she acted. Sending my love, appreciation and hugs to you all. Mair

June was a strong mentor to me (Kerri) when I moved into a hospitality role at church and I have lots of good memories working with her at WAVES events. June and Doug were quick to have us over for small group lunches when we first came to Tintern- we always felt welcomed and included. We have always appreciated her can-do spirit and generosity. Dear Doug and family, including the extended Tallman family and Tintern Church,
What a tremendous loss especially for all of you, and also for the rest of us too. I can hear June's laughter that joyously would roar no matter how many gathered. As a student at Great Lakes in the drama productions, we were most excited for the night that June would attend because she laughed so freely and joyously. June was always encouraging to me, and I have heard stories of her generous spirit. I pray that God's comfort will be tangible, and I give thanks to God for a life that blessed so many others, as we await our reunion in the Kingdom for all of eternity.
