Maria Ledwez

June 24, 1934 – February 3, 2021

We are happy for mom that she passed away peacefully to meet her Lord.  She had suffered most of her life with various illnesses and now her earthly woes are finally over.  She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Daniel, sons Herbert and Peter Ledwez, parents Peter and Anna Renpenning, brothers Cornelius Schpansky and Peter Renpenning, brothers-in-law John Plett and Herbert Ledwez and sisters-in-law Erna Plett and Tony Ledwez.

She is survived by her daughters Irene (Richard) Rempel, Anne Marie (Larry) Bellefleur and Paulline (Donald) Ens and daughter-in-law Christine Rapattoni (Herbert).  She had 15 grandchildren 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, sister-in-law Selma Schpansky and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to Lynda Klassen who was God sent and the caregivers at Pleasant Manor Radiant Care in Virgil where she resided for the last 7 years.  A private graveside service will be held on Monday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Niagara Lake Shore Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
