Obituary of Angela Helen Sawatzky

Sawatzky, Angela - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Angela Helen Sawatzky on February 11, 2021. Angela was born March 1, 1961. She was said to be the most loving, spicy, determined carefree, lovable, and big hearted girl. She was the type of person who warmed your heart when she walked into the room. When she smiled, she had you hooked to fall in love with her and you were going to be friends for life. This was the real Angela.

Living with downs syndrome did not stop her from having a very happy and busy life, as she was very sociable and was not afraid to speak up about what was on her mind.

She enjoyed all the pets her parents had and loved church, and enjoyed singing and having fun. She also enjoyed talking to people she knew and sometimes people she did not know. She was very friendly throughout her life.

Angela was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Sawatzky. She had four brothers: Johnny {deceased}, Peter Wayne {deceased} 

Leonard {Marg}, and Frank. She has two sisters, Rose Mary and Bonnie {Rick}.

After moving out of her parents house , she lived at a home organized by Community Living, Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln Association. She was very well cared for by staff and had many friends.

We want to thank Community Living for all their help and support they  have done for Angela throughout  the years.

The family will be holding a small private gathering, and in lieu of flowers, donations can  be made to McNally House in Grimsby.
