It is with Heavy and Broken Hearts that the family of Barbara Zachar announce the passing of their beloved mother on February 23 2021 at Albright Manor.

Predeceased by her Husband Walter (2017) of 55 years.

Dear Mother of Lori, Debbie and Wally (Elizabeth) Grandmother of Tyler(Morgan) Stephanie(Tom) Victoria and Bradley. Great Grandmother of Noah.

Mom had many passions. She loved her plants, gardens a love for animals and of course cooking.

Famously known by family was her perogies and cabbage rolls spending a whole day making hundreds.

Mom and Dad also enjoyed travelling. Many trips through the Caribbean finally finding a retreat in Zihuantanejo, Mexico where they would spend months during cold winters.

The family wishes to convey a thanks of gratitude and compassion to the Nursing Staff on the Fourth Floor. You are all very special individuals. We were very blessed to have this care provided for our Mother. A thank-you to Dr. Datema for his compassion. Foremost a thank-you to the girls in Laundry, Housekeeping Dietary and Activation..

You all made our Moms days at Albright entertaining, comfortable and place she called home.

Service has taken place.

If desired donations may be made to the Humane Society. She loved her faithful terriers. Sundance and Bandit became her longtime companions. Later in life she looked forward to visits from Chevy, Rudy and Wally.
