Obituary of Hendrik Otten

Otten, Hendrik - It pleased the Lord in His infinite wisdom to take Hendrik, in his 97th year, to be with Him in eternal glory on February 26, 2021.  Predeceased by his wife, Margje  on September 5, 2020 and infant son.  Dear mother of Mark and Jane Otten, Henry and Mary Otten, Bert and Joyce Otten and Jenny and Ed Bouman.  Lovingly remembered by his 21 grandchildren and 77 great grandchildren. Predeceased by Lammie and Roelof Kikkert, Annie and Willem Zwiep.   Survived by Stoffer (d. Tina) Otten, Arend and Betty Otten, Chris (d. Joanne) Otten, Grace and Henry Koskamp and Marie (d. Bruce) Bergsma and also three sisters-in-law and one brother-in –law in the Netherlands.  Sincere thanks to the nursing staff of Shalom Manor for their loving care for our Dad, grandfather and great-grandfather.

All COVID restrictions will be adhered to including the wearing of masks and contact tracing registration  for the Visitation which will be held at ZION FREE REFORMED CHURCH, on March 2, 2021 from 2:30-4:00 p.m. and from 6:30-8:00 p.m.D.V. 

Funeral Service for immediate family will be held on March 3, 2021, D.V. at 11:00 a.m. at ZION FREE REFORMED CHURCH with Pastor Mark Wagenaar officiating.  Interment  will be before the service at 10:00a.m. at Vineland Cemetery for immediate family only. Funeral Service can be watched on You-Tube and sermon audio at Zion Free Reformed Church.  

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Shalom Manor in Grimsby would be appreciated.
