Obituary of Elsie Jean Keddy

Elspeth Sibbald (Keddy), Elsie to all those who knew and loved her, passed away this Tuesday (16 March 2021), and we will miss her each of our remaining days.

Elsie is survived by her sisters Diane and Marion; her children, Rob, Joanna, David and Cheryl; their father, Gerald; grandchildren, Courtenay, Brittany, Jacqueline, Stewart, Lee, and Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Daniela and John William. Elsie was predeceased by her partner of over 25 years, Domenic Tassillo, who passed away in 2018; and by her siblings, Mary Elisabeth, George, and Margaret. Elsie will also be missed by the Tassillo family, Carmelina, Louise and Michael.

Aged 80, born 1941, passed away March 16, 2021. Elsie will be remembered as a remarkable woman, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, with a warm welcome to all who enjoyed her hospitality through the years at her several Diners in Vineland and Port Dalhousie.

Elsie was a long time volunteer with Village of Hope in Jordan. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Village of Hope Niagara.
