I loved my Aunt Tena, and although I haven't been able to visit her in many years, she is still special to me. She sent me a birthday card every year growing up, and a Christmas card, too.
I remember visiting her house back in the late 70's. I climbed a big tree in her yard, and picked rhubarb, and played games in her living room. I think I also slid down the wooden stairs on my rear end. Mom (Leona) says she doesn't remember that, but I do. I remember drinking Canada Dry Ginger Ale and to this day I still like drinking it.
Love and prayers go to my parents and all my aunts and uncles and cousins who are grieving right now. Jesus has brought one more child to her heavenly home, and I praise the Lord that now she is now with her Savior.
