Gemma Poole (nee Palmieri)

February 8th,1934 — April 9th, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of this beautiful soul.

Gemma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Frank. Loving mother to her sons Robert (Judy) and Jim (Terrie). Loving sister of the late Nicholina (the late Vincenzo), the late Maria (the late Francesco), the late Libero (Maria), the late Domenic and the late Giulio (Antonietta). Predeceased by her parents Ricardo and Petronilla.

Gemma will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, cherished neighbours and the members of Catholic Church. Gemma was an advent gardener with a healthy green thumb. She loved spending time cooking for her family and friends, playing cards and deep conversations. We would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Intensive Care Unit for their valiant efforts, loving care and support.

A private family Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 135 Livingston Ave., Grimsby on Thursday April 15 at 11am followed by Rite of Committal at Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville.
