Rob,my sympathy to You -Herb & Jean were the first to welcome us to Springcreek Rd in 1964-We had many,many good visits with them & Jean always had coffee & sweets ready- Herb & Henry had many discussions about farming & how to explore new methods-Herb was a busy farmer & always had Time & wisdom for others--Henry & I cherished their friendship very much! Rob we will always remember your Dad coming for a visit at the Hardware Store. And also how he pulled us out of the ditch with his tractor over 50 years ago, Daryl was teaching me to drive! I didnt make the "S" bend. Sorry for your loss, we will be thinking of you.

Fond memories of Herb and Jeannie, and Ame and Matty when we visited them next to the old Zimmerman homestead on Spring Creek Road many years ago, as well as our frequent meetings with the Niagara North Federation of Agriculture. They were good people and good neighbours to the Zimmerman family. Bill and Herb were distantly related through a shared Aunt. Sincere condolences on your loss. Helen Zimmerman

Herb was one of a number of members that provided the foundation for the St. Catharines Game and Fish Association. His attendance at meetings was certain to provide insight ,sage advise and attention holding stories that brought smiles to those in attendance.
