To the Reimer family.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I have such good memories of your home and farm growing up. I remember causing all sorts of trouble and being afraid to get caught - but often surprised by the grace George showed me! He was someone whose integrity and kindness always showed. He will be missed.

Rob, so sorry for your loss. You and your Dad gave me my first job on the farm and introduced me to the game of golf. Two things I will always remember.
Take care.

Dear Aunt Heidi, Christy, Rob ,ReaAnn, Chelsea, Caitlyn, Justin, Abby.
We pray our Heavely Father's love and peace will surround you all, as your husband, father,& opa has gone "home" to meet Jesus his saviour.. really touched by the sharing you have done of your memories and stories --my(Kathy) first memory of Uncle George was about 1947, when we made the long trip from Alberta to visit our grandparents and family, in Virgil and Arnold & I wondered how he could be our uncle and be younger than us!! We have treasured the visits and connecting times thru the years. We've treasured your visits to Vauxhall and Coaldale, and then when we visited you in Virgil. So fun to be together --awesome treasured family times, as we visit and share--memories so precious of times spent with you and Uncle George. love and prayer support from Henry & Kathy Reimer & family

Sincere condolences to Heidi and the Reimer family at this very difficult time. George was a neighbour of our Andres family on Niven Road; Corney's golfing companion for many years and a family friend.. George also organized our whole stamp collection which took a lot of time. May God bless you as a family and comfort you in this time of grief.

George and Heidi will always be in our memories; they were such a great support to the work in Lithuania. You could always count on George having a story or comment that added zest and life to a group. His skill with plants and people was remarkable. Thank you so much; the Lord will reward you for your faithfulness. Our condolences to Heidi and family; may God bless you and comfort you in this time of loss and grief. Jake and Marg Janzen

My sincere condolences to the Reimer family regarding George's home going to His Lord and Saviour. He was a man of God and influenced those around him. I enjoyed playing pool (billiards) with him at Pleasant Manor, and I know his teenage employees learned a great work ethic and life skills, that farmers like George coach so well. We pray that your family leans into God's blessings, strength and peace during this difficult time. Love, Barry

So sorry to hear about George’s passing. He was the best boss I ever had! Working on the nursery was such a foundational part of my teen years and I imagine it was the same for every person who had the privilege of being his employee. George’s solid work ethic and quiet competence were the perfect foil for Heidi’s boundless energy and enthusiasm.
Thank you, George, for the countless bags of cookies, cans of pop, and jugs of ice cold water you brought to us during break times. Thank you for taking us out to dinners at John’s Flaming Hearth. Thank you for the fun trips to Crystal Beach. But most of all, thank you for treating us like family.
We were just a bunch of raw teens but George treated us with dignity and respect and taught us that one of the greatest pleasures in life is the joy of achievement.
Heidi, Christy, Rob and Rae Ann, you and the kids are all in my thoughts and prayers. May our Heavenly Father comfort your family as you share memories of a life well-lived.

I have fond memories of my friendship with George which began when I moved to Virgil as a teenager. George was my age and we got along well. We were baptized together in Lake Ontario, along with a group of our friends which included both of the girls who later became our wives. Our journeys diverged when I spend a number of years abroad. We connected again in recent years. It was sad to see George's health decline after his diagnoses with Parkinson's. We are happy to know that George is free from his suffering and we pray for God's comfort for Heidi and the entire family. We love you.
