Obituary of Richard Trepanier

Richard Trepanier (1952-2021) Awesome husband of Dianne Heritz. Devoted father of Julie (Kyle Fay) Trepanier and Brigitte (Rick) Bijakowski. Proud Papa of Braden and Lily. Brother of Serge Trepanier and brother-in-law of Michael (Shelly Hook) Heritz and Joanne (Robert Berckmans) Heritz. Special uncle to Margaret Corbett (Adam Ratkovsky), Harriet and Jamie Corbett. Predeceased by his parents Andre Trepanier and Jacqueline Corbeil and his wife Janice Obarevich. Richard was born in Montreal and moved to Niagara in 1993. Richard’s career was in sales with fondest memories of car wholesaling. He wished that everyone would show kindness to salespeople. He enjoyed gourmet cooking, golfing, travelling to French speaking destinations and being left alone!

Cremation has taken place. A private family burial is planned. Richard’s family would like to thank the physicians, nurses and health care professionals who provided his excellent care. Donations may be made to the Hotel Dieu Shaver or Walker Family Cancer Centre.
