So sorry to hear about Aunt Anne’s passing. Sending big hugs ♥️
The last time I remember chatting with her was about the recipe for homemade buns and other recipes from past family get togethers.
Much love, Darla

I’m saddened learning of the passing of Anne, such a special lady and I was honoured to be her friend. We shared phone calls almost weekly over the past couple years, sharing and encouraging each other. We laughed, and we cried together. Though she struggled while grieving Stan, she still always had the hope of being united again one day. And now they are rejoicing with the Lord together.
Our families grew up together from childhood and I send my condolences to Bev, Bob, Ginny, Ed and all their families as they mourn this loss.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

My last memory of Aunt Anne was from a few years ago. I was on a visit to my parents which always included at least one tea time with Aunt Anne. On this occasion, I didn’t think it would work out because of her spending so much time at the hospital with Uncle Stan. I was walking across the grocery store parking lot when I noticed a large boat of a car backing slowly out of a spot. I paused to leave the driver some space before continuing, only to be insistently honked at. Sure enough, the driver was Aunt Ann. She had one of her delicious meals packed to take to Uncle Stan, but I was able to convince her to join me for a coffee before heading down the mountain. We shared a lovely hour of catching up on family news. Although the grief of the last few years was etched on her face, she still had that characteristic teasing twinkle in her eye. And that is how I will remember her.
