It was so sad to hear that Uncle Barry passed away so suddenly. I have many fond memories of his visits to Gramma’s house in Otterburn Park with Erin and Doug. I will always remember the good times we had at our family dinners, playing Rummoli, going out for a round or two of mini-golf and getting ice cream at Dairy Queen. He will be greatly missed.

No words can ever express the loss of someone so special and unique. Barry truly was 'one of a kind'. I have so many wonderful memories of our many years together. I remember how he felt when he achieved his dream of travelling to Scotland and how we trekked around a cemetery in Inverness looking for his relatives headstones. Barry was so proud of his family and his heritage. He never stopped bragging about Erin, Doug and his grandkids. You are all a great tribute to your father/grandfather. Barry will be missed but he will never be forgotten.

Condolences to your family on Barry's passing. We enjoyed several nights with Barry at bbq's, at the race track once and even a week in Amsterdam. Fond memories. One of a kind. He will be missed.

So saddened to hear of Barry’s sudden passing. He was my good friend Charlene’s older brother and we all grew up in Otterburn Park many year’s ago. He was also friends with my late brother David. I hadn’t seen him in many years until he came to visit Charlene a couple of years ago. We enjoyed some time together and it was like all those years were erased. Barry was still the Barry I remembered. We went to visit a local winery and as chance would have it, we ran into our old high school science teacher, Mr Mackenzie. What are the chances of that? It was the most enjoyable afternoon of the summer. You will be missed Barry. May the memories of you put a smile on people’s faces and a warmth in their hearts. My condolences to Barry’s family.
